The lighting piece North got it's from over a hundred years old neon making technology and a chandelier's classic form. The outcome of combining these two elements is an industrial feeling of modern lighting, which has a touch of centuries. North is a light sculpture that carries out a powerful statement. Comprised of seven hand-made cathode tubes, it creates a visually striking piece.

The goal was to create a sculpture using neon-making techniques combined with modern technologies and materials and evoke nostalgic recognition. The industrial cathode tubes and the chandelier's timeless form speak to several generations at once, thus fulfilling the original goal.
